The Business Brokerage Division works with companies whose value is between $150,000 to $1 million.  These are typically “retail” establishments such as liquor stores, laundromats, bars/taverns, and other consumer type businesses.

Market Price/Comparables Survey      
How much is your business worth?  For companies under $500,000 in value, Carrara can do a market price/comparables survey.  Our firm has access to comparative data of businesses listed for sale in a wide range of industries.  We can provide you with a price range based on current market conditions and rules of thumb after we analyzed and recast your financial statements.  This is not a substitute for a 3rd party valuation.  Performing a market price/comparables survey will assist in setting your expectations for the business. 

Pricing a Business
Getting the highest price that the market will bring is important to anyone selling their business.  We can’t tell you what that price will be in the end, but we can give you some guidelines on how to set a price, terms and other conditions.  We can also advise you on how to prepare your business for sale to maximize its value to a potential buyer.
