Carrara is a Business Broker/Intermediary and Consulting firm focusing on small to medium sized businesses.

There are 3 Divisions:
            Business Brokerage Division
            Mergers & Acquisitions Division
            Consulting Services

The difference between the Business Brokerage Division and the M&A Division is based on the size and type company and different services are necessary to sell the two types of companies.
Business Brokerage Division works with "retail" establishments such as liquor stores and laundromats whose value is between $150,000 to $1million.  Also, we specialize in locating buyers and sellers of liquor licenses.
Mergers & Acquisitions Division works with manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and B2B service type businesses whose value is between $1million to $20million.

As a Business Broker/Intermediary, we facilitate the successful sale of a business in a strictly confidential manner.  We help you avoid costly mistakes and provide service and support every step of the way saving you countless hours of time, energy, and aggravation.

Carrara will advise you on how to price your business and structure the sale so it makes sense for both you and the buyer.  Carrara prepares a comprehensive, objective and articulate professional prospectus/profile of the Company that positions the business in the best (and most accurate) light.  The presentation of a business is from both an operational and financial perspective.  The business is marketed through numerous channels and we present your business only to qualified buyers.  We coordinate with the attorney’s, accountants, landlords and lenders to save you time.

Valuation Services.  Carrara provides valuation services.  We obtain all the financial information as well as extensive interviews and utilize a third party certified business appraiser to determine fair market value.  In some cases, a certified machinery and equipment appraiser is necessary.  If financing is necessary, most banks and the SBA will require a third party appraiser.  Valuation of a business prior to listing the business for sale will enable it to be pre-qualified for financing.  Carrara will assist in obtaining financing for the mergers and acquisitions.

Consulting Services.  Carrara provides management and marketing consulting services.  Our consulting fees are a flat fee tailored to a specific task.  Therefore, you know exactly what the cost will be for the service being performed.  Typically, we are retained to provide consulting services to improve the value of the company and position it for sale in the near term.
